SafeBite's core feature is its ability to process information locally. Label scanning is performed entirely on your device. Your images are never sent to our servers or third parties for analysis.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only the data needed to operate the app features you use. • Account Data: Email and profile details when you create an account. • Scan History: Saved product review data for authenticated history and household sync. • Diagnostic Data: Crash and error logs. • Usage Data: Technical information about app interactions and ads.

3. Camera Usage

SafeBite requests permission to use the camera solely for scanning labels. We do not save photos to your gallery without permission.

4. Third Parties

We use Google ML Kit for local text recognition, Supabase for account and sync features, RevenueCat for subscriptions, Firebase for analytics and crash diagnostics, and Google Mobile Ads for rewarded ads.

5. Your Rights

You can clear history, manage your account, restore purchases, or request account deletion from the app settings.

6. Medical Disclaimer

SafeBite is an informational tool. It is not a medical device. Always physically verify labels.
